Delinquent Accounts

Delinquent accounts will incur a fifteen ($15.00) late fee. This late fee wil commence for all sewer bills delinquent and not paid prior to July 31, 2011. This fee is in
addition to any fees for accounts turned over to Adams County Treasurer for collection.

Any customer who has a sewer bill over one year old will be charged a three hundred dollar ($300.00) fee and the account will be sent to the Adams County Treasurer for collection. In the event your account is turned over to the Adams County Treasurer for collection, payments at that time must be paid directly to the Adams County Treasurer rather than to the Berkeley Water and Sanitation District. The Adams County Treasurer also charges interest and/or fees for accounts turned over to them.
